About Gayle:
Celebrating 15 years of organizing excellence in the Bay Area
I got the “organizing gene” in my family.
As a child growing up in Wisconsin, I was constantly
rearranging the furniture in my bedroom and the clothes in my
closets. My mother put me in charge of keeping our kitchen cabinets
and refrigerator organized. My favorite day of the week
was shopping day because I got to put all the groceries neatly
away.
While in college, I came to San Francisco for a summer
and knew that one day I would be making the Bay Area my permanent
home. After graduating with a major in accounting,
I moved here and started my working career in a large corporation.
Several years later I decided to strike out on my own as a bookkeeping
consultant. Whenever I started to work with new clients, I found
my first task was to organize their work spaces, which usually
led to them asking, “Can you do the rest of the office?”
When one of my clients asked if I would organize their
new home, I jumped at the opportunity. At last
I was able to use my organizing and design skills in a residential
setting. From this experience, I decided I would
focus exclusively on organizing homes. Residential
relocations came on board as a natural part of helping my clients
transform their home lives. My favorite compliment is
when clients say, “We could not have moved without you.”
Living in the Bay Area has allowed me to indulge my
passion for food and cooking. My culinary education
includes the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco and
the Culinary Institute of America in Napa. Being in the
kitchen is both my work and my favorite hobby!
Who are my clients?
Busy singles
Families
Seniors
People getting married, divorced or in other life transitions
My clients want me to bring a sense of order, comfort and beauty
to their homes. An efficient home allows you time to focus on
your family, friends, and business. Most importantly, it removes
the feeling of being overwhelmed all the time.
My greatest source of satisfaction
is when I feel I have not only solved a problem or removed
an area of struggle but have improved my client’s overall
quality of life.
I am one of the fortunate - I love going to work each day!
